How we are doing

This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA. The checks below were made by reading and testing the page ourselves. It has not been audited by anyone outside the company, so treat this as our own assessment rather than a certificate.

What has been checked

• The page declares its language, has one main heading, and every image carries a written description.
• A skip link is the first thing you reach with the keyboard, so you can jump the menu.
• A visible focus outline sits on everything you can reach with a keyboard. It is never removed.
• The main text colours clear the AA contrast threshold against the dark background.
• Links in the legal footer are at least 44 pixels tall, so they can be hit without precision.
• Pinch zoom is not blocked, and the menu stays fixed at the top while you scroll.
• All the information on the page is in plain text. The animated demo window is decoration with a written description; nothing is only available inside it.

What has not been checked yet

This matters more than the list above, because reading the code finds somewhere around half of real accessibility problems. The rest needs a person, and the rest is still to do.

• Testing with a screen reader, with voice control, or with a switch device.
• Every width from a wide desktop down to a small phone, step by step, for layouts that break in between.
• Every colour pair on the page, rather than the main ones.
• Magnification software beyond browser zoom.

Known limitations

• This site and the Fetch Terminal app are dark only. There is no light theme, which some people with low vision or light sensitivity need. That is a deliberate choice and we know it costs some readers; your browser's own forced-colours or high-contrast mode will override the page.
• The demo window needs JavaScript. Without it you see the window's frame and no animated session, and lose nothing else.
• The Fetch Terminal app itself is a separate thing from this site. It follows the same rules but has had no independent accessibility audit either.
